Teen Explosion

The Grace Baptist Church teen ministry (7th-12th grade) is designed to strengthen and encourage junior high and high school students. Our desire is to first help each teenager receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, then grow in their faith, their character, and their relationships. It’s about creating an atmosphere that is Christ-focused, while giving them a ministry to which they can belong.
The world we live in is ever-changing and hard for the youth of today to navigate. That is why our teen ministry gets the teens involved in everything we do: from inviting, participating in activities, and serving.
The teen group is an exciting place to be and we want to welcome you to come to be a part of what Christ is doing here at GBC!
Sunday School for All Ages
"...Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

Our Sunday School ministry begins at 9:30am and is designed for all of the different seasons of life. Experienced adults will take the Bible and teach the young children and teens, while the adults have different classes of which they can be a part.
"Young at Heart" (55+ Senior Saints)

Each and every age group should have a group of people to fellowship with, and here at Grace Baptist Church, we love our Senior Saints! This lovely group is for senior adults (55 years of age and up). They have regular potlucks, encouraging devotions together, and exciting trips! Community Outreach & Soul-winning
"And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." ~ Matthew 4:19
God gave us the most important command of telling others about the Good News of the Gospel. Of course, we believe that God has called us to be witnesses in our daily lives, but we also must go house-to-house telling others about our Saviour. It is our mission here at Grace to reach our community for Christ. Taking part in community events, passing out Gospel tracts, and going door-to-door are a few ways we try to reach the Delaware area.

Missions
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." ~ Mark 16:15
Our call to get the Gospel out doesn't stop here in Delaware, Ohio, it continues all across the world. We hold an annual Missions Emphasis Month each March, and we financially support many missionaries across the world. Our financial support helps many individuals receive their own Bible, receive Christ as their Saviour, follow in believers' baptism, and learn to teach others in their native language how to have eternal security. Plus, our Faith Promise Missions Program allows missionaries start churches and stay on the foreign field. If we have a heart for God's big world, He will have a heart for our little world!
Bus Ministry
"And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." ~ Luke 14:23
The bus ministry has been a powerful tool used by the local church to get the Gospel throughout their region. Grace Baptist Church has been able to see many children and teenagers make life-changing decisions for Christ through this ministry! Discipleship
"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." ~ 2 Timothy 2:2
The Scriptures clearly tell us about the importance of teaching others. We strive to share the truths of God's Word with anyone who is eager to learn. There are many new believers who just want to take that next step, yet they just don't know how. In our "Grace to Grow" Discipleship Program, you will be taught the fundamental truths of the Bible and how God wants us to live each and every day.
