Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs

  • The Bible

We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings. We believe that God has perfectly and completely preserved His Word; that compile our doctrine, practice, and habits in our public and private life, and believe that they are the supreme and final authority. These Scriptures are the complete and divine revelation from God to man. We believe the King James Version is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people, and we exclusively use the Authorized King James Bible for all teaching and preaching. (Psalm 12:6-7, II Timothy 3:15-17, I Corinthians 2:9-16, II Peter 1:19-21)

  • God

We believe in one God, Who is eternal, self-existent, infinite, and immutable. We believe He has one nature, one essence, and one substance, yet manifests Himself to man in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; I Timothy 1:17; James 1:17; I John 4:4)

  • The Son of God

We believe Jesus Christ to be the One and only Saviour for mankind. We believe Jesus Christ to be eternally God and to possess all the attributes of Deity. We believe that Jesus was virgin born to fulfill Old Testament prophecy, He was God incarnate, to redeem men, and to rule God's Kingdom to come. We believe Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life, and sacrificed His life to be the substitutionary  sacrifice for our sins. The sacrifice was payment to God for the forgiveness of sins. It was activated by His shed blood on the cross through His death, and accepted by God through His Resurrection. We believe He is ascended to Heaven after His Resurrection, and is sitting on the right of God the Father, waiting for the time of receiving His church through the Rapture, and returning to Earth after seven years to rule and reign as King for 1,000 years. (Psalm 2:7-9; Isaiah 7:14; Micah 5:2, Matthew 1:25, Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1)

  • The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a personality and holds all the attributes of the Deity. We believe that the Holy Spirit has always been involved in the affairs of mankind. We believe since the day of Pentecost until the Rapture that the Holy Spirit has and will have a personal relationship with a saved individual. The Holy Spirit was sent to regenerate, seal, sanctify, and fill those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:5-6; John 14:16; Acts 1:5; I Corinthians 3:16; I Corinthians 12:13)

  • Salvation

Man is lost and must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God. Salvation is by grace alone through personal faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross. You must recognize that you are a sinner, and in need of a Saviour. It is only the blood of Jesus Christ that will save you, and keep you saved. (John 1:12; 3:3-7; Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • The New Testament Church

We believe that a Scriptural church is a local assembly of baptized, (immersed) born-again believers, striving together under New Testament law for the purpose of carrying out the Great Commission, with an unbroken history from the personal ministry of Jesus on earth to this present day; that this church is a self-governed autonomous body having Christ as the Head, the Holy Spirit for its Guide, and the Bible as the only rule of faith and practice. The only Scriptural offices of the church are the bishop (Pastor) and deacons. The two ordinances of the local church are Baptism by immersion  and the Lord’s Table. On all matters of membership, of policy, of government, of discipline, of benevolence, etc., the will of the local church is final. (Mark 16:15; Ephesians 1:22-23; 3:21; I Timothy 3)

  • The Last Days

The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is coming again in the air at any moment to “rapture” up those who have received Him as their Personal Saviour and to reward their service. The unbelievers left behind will go through a period called the Tribulation, after which Christ shall return visibly to the earth to set up His Kingdom of one thousand years of righteous rule. After this, the unbelievers of all ages will stand at the Great White Throne to be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, separated from God forever, while the believers spend eternity in the fullness of joy in Heaven with the Lord. (Matthew 24:29-42; I Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 19:11 - 20:15)
